Hermetic sentences extracted from The Message Rediscovered
We present a selection of hermetic sentences extracted from The Message Rediscovered, the Cattiaux's master work, arranged according to the fundamental symbols of the different spiritual traditions in order to generate a new network of meanings in relationship with the art and the symbol. The Message Rediscovered is a book that contains, as his author said, "a tightly initiation and mystique presented in a concentrated form that demands more than a straightforward reading, the words being transcended by the revelation, and the work presenting itself as liquid air that has acquired other extraordinary properties, but which are invisible at first sight".

Art

09/53. Art consists in making the supernatural hidden in the natural appear.

06/57. Prayer is the perfect art of communication with God. It leads to love that consoles, to knowledge that enlightens and to the union that saves.

13/49'. It is the verb that diversifies the primary substance, and it is silence that unifies it again. Thus, art that gives form to matter is a noble function of man because it brings him closer to his creator.

08/32. To make visible the divine unity hidden beneath the diversity of the world is the work of nature. To incorporate the highest spirit into the basest body and bring them to absolute perfection is the work of art .

37/41. Inspiration without action is powerless, and action without inspiration is blind. The two together make the perfection of the human work. Art without nature is impotent, and nature without art is blind. The two united make the perfection of the divine work.

33/48. The arts of men may well distract us and console us here below. Only the ART of God can deliver us from the putrefying infamy of deadly sin.

35/43. One needs the gift of genius to practise the fine arts in this world. And one has to have an angelic gift to pray and praise the Lord of heaven and earth. But one has to have a divine gift to practise the great ART of the Almighty here below.

22/31'. There is only one true ART , that which manifests the free spirit, which is the light of the Universe. There is only one true science, that which fixes this divine light in the repose of God.
